The Swimmers

Louth Dolphins is a competitive swimming club who welcome all swimmers that want to achieve. We have swimmers not only from Louth but from many towns and villages from the surrounding area. Any swimmer who can swim at least 100 meters competently is welcome to have a trial with no obligation. During the trial swimmers will be assessed as to their standard and potential. Our team of coaches, assistant coaches, poolside helpers and the Club Committee are all dedicated to providing a safe and enthusiastic environment where or swimmers thrive. Although only a small club, our swimmers have achieved County, Midland and National standard swimming times. We are in the County premier division and are amongst the top 5 Clubs in Lincolnshire.

Training

Training is based at Louth Swimming Pool every night (except Saturday - Gala night) , with additional training on Friday morning from 6-8am. Land training sessions are also held in Louth on Monday evenings. Swimming takes place on a group basis A, B and C Squads. Most swimmers begin in the C Squad and progress to a Squad in time, and of course, some hard work.
